I view myself as a historian with a camera. 

The wonder and magic of having your photograph taken is the fact that you're immortalized for eternity. Our modern day and age has dulled our fascination with our own photos. We have become images that are pixels and files who then have been shared on social media and then forgotten somewhere in the cloud after a couple of months. The difference  between a selfie and a portrait session is that you'll look back on it and feel something -nostalgia, love, pure joy for many years to come, because your image matters.
